My Barnes & Noble Bookstore Signing

This August, I made my first “big” bookstore appearance at the Lancaster, Pennsylvania Barnes & Noble to sign copies of the “Birthright of Scars” duology and chat with book lovers.

The store offers a Starbucks café and eatery that is large enough for patrons to comfortably sit and read or converse while dining. It also provides easy to navigate genre and age grouped browsing sections and is staff by friendly and supportive people.

I had the privilege of meeting Sci-Fi thriller author E M Peck, who picked up a copy of “Birthright of Scars: Rising” at my table. Peck’s debut is “The DEVI Experiment” and he describes himself as a chemist, philosopher, and creator. His upcoming release is “SCION” which explores relationships in an age where human consciousness is infused into AI entities as a coming of age process.

Peck was a pleasure to speak with and will be exhibiting his books at community events in the greater Mechanicsburg area in the coming months.

I never tire of meeting people like Emma and Peck, so you can count on me doing another Barnes & Noble signing at some point in the future.

Until then, the “Birthright of Scars” duology is available in paperback through the Barnes & Noble website, and as an ebook for Nook users. But you can also find it on Bookshop.org

Before the day’s end, I sold out of my prequel copies, a total of twenty two books. But my favorite part of it all was the moment one of my newest readers, Emma, nervously asked her dad if he thought I’d mind taking a photo with her.

I was so glad she asked.
